In Chinese Gongfu style tea ceremonies, it is customary to discard the water used to warm the teapot, tea brewer, and cups. Additionally, the first rinse of the tea leaves is also discarded. To make this process easier, our tray features slatted trays with a water collection basin.

To preheat and rinse your cups and teapot, simply place them on the top of the tray. The water will then flow through the holes in the removable bamboo top, draining into the main part of the tray below.
